CLEVELAND GUARDIANS TICKET SALES:
Our trip to sing the national anthem at the Cleveland Guardians will be on Monday April 20th! Tickets will go on sale Monday March 2nd and close Friday March 13th. All ticket orders must be turned in by March 13th. Information regarding ticket sales will be passed out on March 2nd as well as posted below. Please turn in your payment and order form together to Ms. Swineford. Upon receiving each payment, Ms. Swineford will issue a written receipt for students to take home. Tickets are $17 each for non-student performers, $7 for performing students (our music boosters is offering to pay $10 for each student ticket), and will be in sections 170 and 171 (3rd base side out near left field...GREAT foul ball territory!!)

Student Report Time: 5:45 PM for HS, 6:00 PM for 6-8
Concert Attire: HS - Concert Uniforms
MS - either all black or plain white on top and black on bottom

Long black dress pants are required (no jeans, sweatpants, or leggings)

Skirts/dressed must be below the knee while SEATED (if not, black tights are required)

Black dress shoes recommended (appropriate heel length)

Tops must have sleeves, ¾ length or longer recommended

Ties are optional for gentlemen
Who: Choirs grades 6-12 will perform.
This concert is a graded event. Students with an excused absence will have an alternate assignment to complete with a given due date from Ms. Swineford. Excused absences, per the GLS Choral Handbook, must be submitted by a parent or guardian via the absence request form on the GLS Choirs website. Excused absences include medical emergencies, illness, and death in the family. Unexcused absences include not attending the concert due to a sports practice, work, or no communication was given prior to the day of the concert. Students with an unexcused absence will not have the opportunity to complete an alternate assignment and will receive the grade of zero.
Student performers: Each group will perform on the risers during their portion of the concert. When students are not performing, they are to sit quietly and observe the other students perform. When not performing, students will sit in the chairs set up for them like at the Sacred Concert, watch each group perform, and are not allowed to talk while choirs are performing.
Order of the concert is 6th Grade, 7/8 Grade, the High School, to conclude with one music selection to be performed by all choirs grades 6-12 combined.
