FAFSA NIGHT

The FAFSA application is now officially open!  Parents of Seniors planning on attending college, please plan on attending the FAFSA Information Night this Wednesday 10/8 at 6pm in the cafeteria.  A financial aid expert will be here to talk about the FAFSA form, college loans and other important financial aid information.  Check out https://www.itsforyou.org/ for information to help you with the application.


WCSCC

The Wayne County Schools Career Center will be in sophomore English classes to discuss their high school career tech programs.  Students will be choosing 3 different trades that they will be touring during our upcoming November field trip during this visit.  Choices can be found here:  https://www.flipsnack.com/lmoomaw/wcscc-2025-2026-career-opportunities-catalog/full-view.html 


FALL COLLEGE FAIR

Lakeland Community College is offering a Free Fall College Fair this Sunday,  October 5th from 11:30 to 1pm at the Lakeland Community College in the Athletic & Fitness Center.  Right now they have at least 55 colleges that will be in attendance.  More information can be found here:  https://www.lakelandcc.edu/web/about/recruitment-college-fair

Parents - You should have access to your students' ProgressBook to keep up to date with grades & assignments. If you have never registered, or your student is new, please contact Mrs. Nettleton in the guidance office for your registration key.
