MESSAGE FROM THE PRINCIPAL

It’s hard to believe we’ve reached the last week of the quarter! The start of the school year is jam-packed with events and new routines. I want to give a huge THANK YOU to our students, staff, and you, our supportive families, for helping make the transition as smooth as possible. We will continue refining our routines and procedures throughout the building to ensure a smooth transition into quarter two.

We really appreciate the communication you provide when your child is ill, has an appointment, or needs to be absent for another reason. Please continue to provide a note when your child needs to leave school in the middle of the day. Arriving without advance notice can cause classroom disruptions and delay your child’s departure. If we know in the morning that your child has an appointment, we can help speed up the process by providing them with a note directing them to the office at a specific time.

Parent-teacher conferences are next Wednesday! There is still time to sign up if you would like to meet with one of our staff members to discuss your child’s progress in the classroom. We value the opportunity to collaborate with you and appreciate the support you provide at home.

Thank you again for your continued support!

Attention parents of seniors:  If your child is planning on attending college next fall, please plan to attend the FAFSA info night, next week, on Wednesday 10/14/26 at 6pm.  A financial aid expert will be present to discuss funding for college.

The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is now open.  This needs to be completed so that colleges can put together their financial aid package for the student.  Please visit https://studentaid.gov/h/apply-for-aid/fafsa for more information and to get that application started.
